Bladeguard is orchestral Christian metal forged in scripture and fire. The debut album Armatura Dei follows a warrior chosen by Archangel Michael to hunt demonic forces in a post-apocalyptic world — from the crucifixion at Golgotha to the edge of the abyss. Influenced by Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, and the Book of Revelation.
Armatura Dei — the Armor of God — tells a single story across eleven tracks. It begins at the cross, establishes the fortress of faith, witnesses the abyss tearing open, and follows a warrior armed with an angelic blade into the heart of darkness. The album ends not with victory, but with the hunter descending into the pit — face to face with the Destroyer. The story continues.
